Review of Dead Silence (1991) by Kurt M — 19 Dec 2012
A dark and atmospheric horror movie that succeeds in rising above other films of the genre and becoming more than just your average slasher flick. Eerie, brooding and disturbing, the film has a surreal quality that is truly unsettling as well as some genuine frights, with an excellent script, good direction, and terrific editing and scenic design.
Well worth watching.
