Review of Dead Ringers (1988) by Itamar K — 16 Mar 2009
Brilliant, dark and terrifying, easily one of Cronenberg's finest pieces, and a once-in-a-lifetime, Oscar-worthy performance for Jeremy Irons. For once Cronenberg created a film that has no supernatural elements whatsoever, and yet is entirely unreal and nightmarish, making it his most mature work thus far.
