Review of Dead Ringers (1988) by Aaron S — 16 Oct 2009
Oh man, bloody fantastic. A real departure from Cronenberg in that the horror stems more from the mind than the flesh, so there's little of the grotesque body-horror that he's known for. But don't think this is a tame film by any means...in fact, it might be his most twisted and perverse, with Jeremy Irons simply magnificent playing two opposite sides of the same bizarre personality.
Brett, make this your next Cronenberg viewings.
