Review of Dead Ringers (1988) by Cindy L — 29 May 2009
Most movies are either event movies (the action focuses on a single contained event, like Die Hard), or the narrative is sprawling (like the Godfather or Annie Hall or whatever). So I was thinking, "What would a horror movie look like if it wasn't an event-based story? How could you make Texas Chainsaw Massacre without the massacre?" My friends, I think this is the answer.
