Review of Dead Presidents (1995) by Tim B — 24 Nov 2008
Yeah, so I was always under the impression that this was a heist flick. Not so much. Yes, there is a heist that occurs in the final 20 minutes of the film, but it is more of a means to an end for a young African American who has returned from his tour of duty in Vietnam and is unable to support his family than it is the driving point of the film.
It's a good look at what many many Vets went through upon their return t just wasn't really what I was expecting.
