Review of Dead Man's Shoes (2004) by Robert F — 14 Jun 2008
Excellent revenge thriller from Shane Meadows. It keeps to his high standards, as usual set in the East Midlands(Nice to get consistent regional accents) There is plenty of violence, but strangely with no emotion, Paddy Considine kills with barely a flicker.
Meadows has to be the best contemporary non sold out British director.
