Review of Dead Man's Shoes (2004) by Tom G — 13 Nov 2008
This is a really great story of a man who returns from the army, and is now out for revenge against a group of people who did something to his brother while he was away. Strong performances by Paddy Considine and Toby Kebbell, who plays his brother.
The flashback scenes are disturbing as we slowly get glimpses of what exactly it is that the gang did, and there is a great reveal and twist at the end that really makes this something more than the average 'revenge' movie.
