Review of Dead Man's Shoes (2004) by Douglas M — 25 Aug 2009
Again, I disagree with the critics! This is a fantastic gritty film and the performance of Paddy Considine alone is worth watching but there is some deep soul searching and questioning of human nature thrown into the balance which raises this into the higher echelons of the genre.
Brilliantly made with a surprising twist and just the right amount of violence necessary without going over the top, I was very pleasantly surprised.
