Review of Dead Man's Shoes (2004) by Matthew T — 27 Sep 2009
More British bleakery from the impressive Shane Meadows - an interesting twist on the usual Revenger set-up in that you almost start siding for the whimpering spanners who are The Bad Guys more than Paddy Considine's superb ex-Army Good Guy.
Plus it's set in the missus' home town. Grim but watchable.
