Review of Dead Man's Shoes (2004) by Ifor J — 23 Feb 2010
Why, why, why isn't this seen as one of the greatest British films ever made?? Everything about this film is glorious. British indie movie-making at it's absolute finest. Why Paddy Considine has not been made a star yet is an absolute disgrace to everyone involved in the film industry.
Funny, brutal, terrifying and heartbreaking. Easily British cinema's finest work since the great Trainspotting in my opinion. Powerful.
