I think the comments of viewers are so exaggerated. Every single scene is a proof of inexperience work. Considine's (who is also the the lead-actor) first attempt to write a script. The sixth film of Meadows.
Ant 2 of that 6 movies were short. I decided to watch it because of it's imdb rating which is 7.9. And now I try to find what is the problem. A real disappointment for me !
