Review of Dead Man's Shoes (2004) by Alan T — 19 Jan 2011
I feel shitty for not going deeper into this, because it's been too long since I've seen it, but I did like it, and the only thing I didn't like is the 3rd act, which I thought kind of lost a lot of momentum very quickly.
But, Paddy Considine is a menacing mothafucka as the lead revenge-seeking dude, and Toby Kebbell is also great as Considine's poor picked-on little brother.
The cinematography is great, Shane Meadows is a cool director, and despite making better movies, this is damn watchable, too.
