Review of Dead Man's Shoes (2004) by Xgary X — 02 Apr 2011
A stark, absolutely brutal and bleak piece of British cinema that is well worth checking out. Starts off a bit slow, but picks up fantastically by the end of the film. Paddy Considine plays unbalanced lunatic very well, making him more and more an actor I enjoy keeping an eye out for.
The accents are a bit thick at times but adds to the atmosphere of the film. Well worth the watch.
