Review of Dead Man's Shoes (2004) by William J — 03 Oct 2012
I have to say this was a random watch on my part. never heard of the movie director or actors. This was an amazing film. This does feel like they we not working with to much of a budget, but that does not take away from a great film.
This movie did not need crazy funding because of the great directing. It was perfectly paced, never confusing and scene changes worked well. I also thought the soundtrack was amazingly beautiful, and helped convay the stories feelings.
We are definatly talking standard revenge plot. Not so standard on that it brings up a lot of serious social/political/moral questions about society. I was very decieved by the almost Rampage lookalike "cover of this book".
