Review of Dead Man Walking (1995) by Trevor H — 16 Dec 2008
This film shows a fair and unbiased take on capital punishment, having empathy towards the suspect and the victims' families. Susan Sarandon portrays a nun who develops a close relationship with the suspect on death row.
The film showcases heartbreaking performances from both Sarandon and Penn. Even people who are all for death penalty must have some heart to fully engage with this story and to empathize with all of its characters.
