Review of Dead Man Walking (1995) by Mohammad H — 13 Oct 2009
Sean penn is a douche, but man can he act. This is the best role I've seen him in. Overall a really great film. Well done, Tim Robbins. It can't be easy to make a film about controversial political issues without being seriously biased, and this does a pretty good job at objectivity.
Toward the end, we certainly notice that Sarandon's character has strong opinions on the matter, but Robbins has a good way of dealing with that in the final scenes.
