Review of Dead Man Walking (1995) by Christopher S — 01 Mar 2011
Tim Robbins does a great job Adapting the story "Dead Man Walking" which is based on a book of the same name, it tells the story of Sister Helen Prejean (played by Sarandon), who tries to help Matthew Poncelet (played by Sean Penn), a prisoner on death row and who also will die by Lethal injection.
Susan Sarandon gives a wonderful performance who wants to help Poncelet (Penn's Character). Sean Penn, also does a Tremendous job and it's definitely one of his best films. This was Definitely a good movie.
Was it great? I don't think so. Though admittedly you do get some real good moments and it is a film that gives you something to think about, and Debate with oneself.
