Review of Dead Man Running (2009) by Alex F — 27 Nov 2009
I was not expecting much from dead man running, it looked to be just another snatch lookalike in a new suit, but I was fairly pleased altogether, the simple and basic plot thickened nicely and took on some clever twists and turns.
Tamer hassan (nick) and Danny Dyer both take on two best freinds stuck in dead end jobs under the same roof, but when Nick is payed a visit by a notorious gangster (50 Cent) he discovers that he ows £100,000 and if he does not pay him and his elderly mother will have face the concequences...
Overall Both Danny Dyerand Tamer Hassan underplay there roles and for most of the time sound like themselves reading off a script or like there both having a chat in the pub... despite this Dead Man Running does include a very entertaining element of comedy to the movie, in my eyes saving the fim from becoming a failure.
A film not in the same league as snatch or lock stock but still a good laugh altogether.
