Review of Dead Man Running (2009) by Sam W — 14 Feb 2010
A lot better than I had expected.
Its a mish mash of loads of british gangsta flicks you'll of seen a dozen times before, but its pretty decent.
Good performances and a fairly decent plot (again, a plot thats been done time and time again) but it works.
Only downfall is 50 cent, probably best stick to the gangsta rap, his acting in this film alone would suggest he doesnt really have much of a future in the film world.
Danny Dyer is on form as the cheeky sidekick, and Tamar Hassan is as usual well cast as the loveable rouge.
3/5.
