Review of Dead Man Running (2009) by Kell L — 14 Jan 2011
A cheap rip off of a Guy Ritchie film, Dead Man Running sees a loan shark (50 cent) force an ex con to pay back the money he owes, or he and his mum dies. This film is your very average cocky gangster film with a terrible and unfunny comical script, a predictable story, and a group of actors that give crappy performances.
Especially 50 cent; couldn't understand a word of what he was saying, it was just a load of mumbling. Don't waste your time to watch this film, Dead Man Running isn't bad enough for me to give it 0% but its still pretty bad.
They couldn't even do a simple thing by making the gangsters look hard and intimidating, if I came face to face with one of them I would laugh in his face at how pathetic he was. More or less every time you here the words gangster Brit flick, 9 times out of 10 you know that its going to be sh*t.
And this film is no exception.
