Review of Dead Man Running (2009) by Rico F — 16 Jul 2013
I normally give Danny Dyer flicks a swerve and was expecting this to be his usual wank but its actually decent. Has a great soundtrack, in particular De Rakoff use of The Stone Roses - Fools Gold. A serious twitch from Monet Mazur and the production team must have had plenty of dirt on Brenda Blethyn to get an actress of her calibre involved.
Overall a nicely paced action flick and Hassan is a likely character in the lead. However, one has to question how 50 Cent a mere American loan shark came about controlling all the crime in the London underworld.
