Review of Dead Man Down (2013) by Rajan N — 23 Mar 2013

I really didn't like this movie! Yes, I know there were a few people that liked this movie, but I wasn't one of those people, for me this movie was unoriginal, boring and poorly written. Of course this film does try to be clever and it does try to put a few twists in the movie, but unfortunately all the twists were very predictable and all the scenes that were trying to be clever, weren't very clever.

As for the script, the script was poorly written, there wasn't any clever dialogue, the plot was very boring and the characters were really dull. Big stars, like Colin Farrell, Dominic Cooper, Terrence Howard and Noomi Rapace were all this film and I do give them all some credit because I can tell they were trying there best, it's just all the characters they were playing were really boring.

As for everything else, it was done poorly as well, like the editing was sloppy, the pacing was slow, the score didn't match the tone of the movie and the direction was just awful. I know, I could have given this movie a little bit of a higher rating because this movie wasn't the worst thing ever, it's just this movie didn't hold my interest and I found it very boring.

I found the action boring, the drama boring, the suspense boring and the characters really boring. So, I of course will not recommend this film to anyone because this movie was just terrible.
