Director Niels Arden Oplev (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo fame) makes his Hollywood debut with an action thriller which promises so much, yet fails on all counts. A tale of revenge at heart, 'Dead Man Down' fails to draw your attention, barring a couple of sequences, resulting in a boring, painful movie watching experience.
The cast puts in an earnest effort but they aren't helped with a script that's lifeless. Barely watchable.
