Although the chemistry between Farrell and Rapace is quite solid on its own, Dead Man Down is too poorly executed to leave any lasting impact. The product of a weak script and uninspired direction, the film becomes tedious to sit through.
While it's not terrible, Dead Man Down marks a wasted opportunity for its director and two main leads.
