Dead Man Down is a very good action, revenge movie. Usually revenge movies are tired and dumb, but this one is actually very surprisingly good. Niels Arden Oplev, the director, does a fantastic job. He has a great vision of this and he brings it to life very well.

The camerawork is fantastic and really captures everything well. The script is very smart and intense and has some really cool twists you won't see coming. The plot may get a little muddled at parts, but overall I thought it was well thought out and it all came together well.

Colin Farrell really surprised me in this. He did do a really great job in this. And, Noomi Rapace was as a good as ever. She's a fantastic actress and she does a great job in this. She plays a woman who just simply wants revenge and retribution from the man who did what he did to her, and she plays it great.

Colin Farrell and Noomi Rapace have great chemistry and the shine together in the lead roles. The tone is very well crafted, and it evenly balances the dark, violent and vengeance tone of the whole movie.

The end I really did like, it brings everything together perfectly and explains all of the crazy twists, with a bad ass violent shoot out. Dead Man Down is a very good revenge, love story, dark film that has great acting from the two leads, stellar direction, a smart script that evenly balances all of the tones, and is a very fun, exciting, action packed thrill ride of a movie.
