Interesting idea at its heart and a few exciting performances, but the film itself is all over the place. At its best it is an interesting drama about damaged people and the cycle of retribution, at its worst it is over the top, heavy handed action to the point of being unbelievable, and somewhere in between it is a reasonable thriller.
Stitch it all together and you have a film you'll watch once and probably enjoy, but won't feel any inclination to watch again.
