Quick Review:
Extremely forgettable with no emotional tug. My god this film is long for such a weak script. Weirdly structured.
2 of the main things that motivates the characters happened outside the context of the movie. The scaring and the murder of his wife and kids Just because you put a projector of your kids on the screen doesn't mean that's enough for us to relate to Farrell's family.
The both live in two high rises that are obviously cgi. There's no sense of neighborhood. Even though some of the shots are from NYC it just feels like a big generic city.
