Review of Dead Man (1995) by Sharyn H — 03 Jan 2009
Absolutely gorgeous film! Completely eccentric (as only Johnny Depp can choose to be a part of, hehe), and fantastic yet utterly bizarre storyline. Between Native Americans who refuse to believe a character can be anything other than THE poet William Blake (as if it were not possible for two people to have the same name!), and hired hitmen who sleep with teddy bears, this is one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long while.
The music was haunting, and the cinematography was just beautiful. Extremely well done movie.
