Really characterfull Johnny Depp is excellent, the script is really good in it's analogy between the Poet and Mystic William Blake and the lead protagonist.Great atmospheric guitar and cameo appearances by Robert Mitchum, John Hurt, Iggy Pop and Billy Bob Thornton.
Very very Shamanic like an excerpt from the Golden Bough by Frazer.
