Review of Dead Man (1995) by Andy B — 28 Jan 2013
A lonely Cleveland accountant finds himself a fugitive after murdering a man in self defense. Helping him run from the law and hired gunmen is a Native American who prepares him for a spiritual journey.
A distinct avant-garde vision of the western genre by the always interesting Jim Jarmusch that is a deeply spiritual reflection and experience. Beautiful black and white photography, wonderful style, a great Neil Young soundtrack and plenty of cameos.
