Review of Dead Man (1995) by Petros T — 13 Mar 2011
This extremely interesting journey of a hunted-down poet sets off in a very promising way. There's a weird conversation between the poet and a mechanic and a brief ramble in Machine, a city of ill repute.
Then the poet encounters an Indian who's a fan of his and teaches him to defend himself, although there's a strong suspicion that the poet is already dead... Great photography, a unique soundtrack by Neil Young, probably Johnny Depp's best performance.
.. Well... Jim Jarmusch's masterpiece!
