Review of Dead Like Me: Life After Death (2009) by Jim W — 17 Feb 2009
Okay, so there are goods and there are bads. My first and big complaint about the film is Daisy's Character being replaced. Completely upsetting, and I don't quite feel like her character comes across with the same emotion.
Okay, now that this is out of the system, we have to take a step back, remember three years have passed, and sadly when ideas are picked back up after time has passed, sadly continuity can drag as an issue. This film seems to have taken ideas that were strong efforts in the series, and completely tosses what we know out the window and unfortunately theirs a large gap of story in this film, and they go against what we spent two seasons discussing...
Because I'd already been given a warning to accept disappointment, I was able to somewhat pull myself out of the idea and accept that I was going to be disappointed...
All that said, I know three stars almost seems like to much, but as a stand alone the movie does still have something.
