Review of Dead Like Me: Life After Death (2009) by Bambi - — 08 Oct 2017
I'll give it one half of a star for having at least some of the original cast, and another half for Ellen Muth soldiering on with a great performance in such a trash bin of a film. After watching this, it was evident the director clearly did not know anything about Dead Like Me. It's a shame Stephen Herek had to ruin the complex character that was Daisy Adair by turning her into an annoying airhead of a character that falls completely flat. At least Laura Harris wasn't available for that, I would have hated to see her try to play that out. She deserved better anyway.
But that's of course only one fine example of what made this movie blow.
This was such a waste. It could have been great, and if a series had reapers, this movie would be the result of a reaper not taking its soul and leaving it to rot after it has been long dead.
