Review of Dead Like Me: Life After Death (2009) by Emily B — 05 Jul 2009
I hate when Hollywood ruins a show or film that was so fabulous. Dead Like Me was an amazing show with a great story, awesome actors, and just an overall artsy and creative style to it. I just watched the 2 seasons back to back because I couldn't get enough.
And then Hollywood decides to bring it back to life after 5 years and ruin it. The film version of the show was awful. The characters were butchered, some of the roles replaced by lesser actors or just cut out all together, everything was different. You can't try and finish a story when the characters, actors, style and location are all different. It just felt like a mess.
I'm really upset that the show was cancelled but I would rather they have let it rest in peace then mess with it in this flop of a film.
