As a fan of the series, I have no idea why this movie was made. The absence of both Mandy Patinkin and Laura Harris hurt the film's chances right off the bat, and the storyline was less than compelling, although it was nice to see Reggie and George reconnect.
All in all, this is a fairly inconsequential affair, so watch only if you love the series.
