Review of Dead Heat (1988) by Bill C — 12 Dec 2007
While I don't pretend this is a good movie, it is an extremely fun movie. Piscopo's lines all fall short, but that ends up being funnier. The effects work well enough in most places (keep and eye out for a terrible Piscopo dummy which has a screwed up face that is later ignored), and the story is bad bordering on terrible.
Vincent Price makes a nice cameo, but his talents are, for the most part, wasted. Don't expect an Oscar winner but instead watch it with some buddy's and your favorite refreshment for a good time.
