Review of Dead Heat (1988) by Eddie A — 15 Jun 2010
Imagine a film about dead people who are brought back to life to rob jewelry stores for the doctors and scientists who give them a second chance. Imagine if a good cop is killed in a freak accident and then brought back to life to serve justice to the inventors of the machine who reanimate the dead. Imagine if at the end of the film, the villain kills himself before the good cop can get his hands on him. Then, the good cop throws him in the machine to bring him back to life and to get the chance to kill him again, and then blows him up. Oh, and then you have Joe Piscopo being awful as usual.
That's Dead Heat.
It's hilarious, but I'm not sure if that was what the makers were going for.
