Review of Dead End Drive-In (1986) by Grayson W — 06 Nov 2013
A wild mix of different elements. The film comes to us from the land down under, but is an ultra-80's apocalyptic film (so 80's it hurts, but imo that's a good thing). It's wildly weird fun.
It's a very different kind of film. Ned Manning puts on a great performance as our lead and Peter Whitford, Wilbur Wilde and Dave Gibson do memorably great jobs as well as supporting characters. A wild ride if there ever was one, I would highly recommend this film if you have a taste for the bizarre and insane.
