Review of Dead Calm (1989) by Oliver B — 13 Aug 2007
Excellent, minimal (three isolated characters) thriller: approaching Hitchcock levels of quality. Zane is mad and villainous, Kidman is sexy and helpless, and Neill is tough and heroic. You couldn't ask for - and don't need - anything else in a thriller film.
