The latest start to the day, I didnt do too much except catch a few lectures and wander around a bit. I went to check out the University of Texas Austin to start off the day.

The first flick I saw was a Horror Movie called Reeker, I saw this one at the Alamo Downtown. This movie was pretty scary plus they added alot of little comedic touches. One of the characters is blind so they did a lot with that. And it was more intelligent then it was dumb. The ending is really great as youll see if you catch it. IM not sure if theyre going to wide release this one, but they should, it was a damn good horror flick.

Proceeding Over to the Paramount where I watched the next two movies, the first off was All We Are Saying. Basically a ramshackle muisc documentary by Roseanna Arquette. I thought most of it was boring and most of the artists didnt say much except for how hard it is to be a rock star so with that, it was kindve boring. Roseanna Arquette is a subpar actress and a Subpar director.

Thankfully the next movie I saw was ultrabadass. It was the Asian Import, Kung Fu Hustle. From the director of Shaolin Soccer, it was extremely similiar but in a good way. The Kung fu and fighting in this movie was far better than in Shaolin soccer and it looks like they spent more money which they used wisely. Great sets and cool special effects. I think Ill see this one in theateres again.

To end the night, I headed back to the Alamo Downtown to catch a screeing of the Horror Film Dead Birds. Oddly enough it was set during the Civil War. For all intents and purposes it really didnt need to be, but it worked so, hey, points for trying something new. Better than just having it at some college or lakeside cabin. Otherwise thought it was kindve the usual and the story was kindve odd, but not in a good way. It was pretty scary though, some real fucked up images.
