Review of Dead Birds (2005) by Pete B — 15 Mar 2009
Very good mix of horror and old west. After a bank robbery the robbers hideout in the wrong house sucks to be them!!! Some unique scenes and some very cleche scenes. Starts out looking like a really b- western but be patient horror fans it gets creepier.
It seems other reviewers are very mixed. Some liked it others hatted it. People remember and I can't say this enough rate the film within its genra. Don't judge a horror film like a drama. Horror is made to scare you if it did its job then thats great.
Don't get me wrong a bit of comedy, action, or drama is also important in a horror film but sometimes its just good to have a purely visural horror film with the minimum of drama.
