This movie would greatly benefit from a high budget remake. If I had the power to do that I would. The monster designs here are especially unique as well as terrifying. Unfortunately they are most affected by the small budget and fall victim to bad cgi.
The western civil war setting is also very unique and it works. I'm actually surprised western horror films haven't been done more often. At any rate I hope this gets reworked or rediscovered some day and done right.
