Review of Dead & Buried (1981) by Patrick D — 09 Jun 2009
Surprisingly decent. I never had a desire to watch this film, kind of like the fairly recent Dagon which was ace, or even Humanoids from the Deep, a Corman classic that speaks for itself. but I was surprised at how well-made this was.
And it's always great to see Freddy Krueger and Grandpa Joe from Willy Wonka get other roles, especially in such a macabre and dark film. The twist at the end is great and I didn't see it coming, so I'm glad I got to finally watch this after seeing it on the shelf in every horror section.
