A two-hour search for a pulse…

A really interesting concept and a suspenseful mystery. I thought the resolution was a little messy but all in all a nice little diversion…

Re-watched it. fun to see such a great cast, even in the smaller parts (e.g. Robin Williams)…

This is actually my favorite Kenneth Brannagh film…

Kenneth Branagh's attempt in at romance noir culminated in Dead Again, a bizarre, lackluster, and increasingly dumb affair…

Not very suspenseful. I think Branagh's a great actor, but hasn't made many good movies in my opinion…

I love a good twisty ride during a movie. Its a little older so its more calculated than most movies now day, which isn't a bad thing…

By Doctor S (657) on 12 Feb 2013

Great twist and these two are great actors…

Review of Dead Again (1991)

By House M (195) on 26 Jan 2013

The plot of this movie is ridiculous and the climax is laughable, but I love it anyway. Kenneth Branagh and Emma Thompson were such a great couple…

Weird but entertaining movie-mistery about murder and reincarnation. The plot twist is silly, yet effective…

Great story and solid directing! Emma Thompson is mesmerizing…

Has some pretty good writing from Scott Frank…

Review of Dead Again (1991)

By William T (472) on 26 Oct 2012

Despite its cheesy ending, this mystery movie tends to rival Hitchcock's best work with brilliant performances from Branagh, Jacobi and Thompson…

Wow, wonderful, the best part it was filmed around my neighborhood, all those places are still there…

Kenneth Branagh is just awesome. Fantastic story, with great twists to keep it fresh. A wonderful example of early 90's cinema…

Review of Dead Again (1991)

By Gabriel H (249) on 31 Jul 2012

I only rated it that high because of Jacobi and Branagh…

Review of Dead Again (1991)

By E L (691) on 28 Jul 2012

A homage to the old classics, with great cinematography, although it will require quite a bit of suspension of disbelief…

Review of Dead Again (1991)

By Joshua L (2,111) on 20 Jul 2012

The acting is really good and so is the story. the suspense is really well done…

Review of Dead Again (1991)

Horrible ending death scene otherwise 3 1/2-4 stars…

Kudos to Kenneth Branagh for holding Dead Again together and keeping it serious even when the film ventures into preposterous territory…
