Review of De-Lovely (2004) by Lizzie M — 03 Jun 2007
I was absolutely entranced by this fim, though I found the story slightly dragging in parts. However the set up is so original and it works so well. The musical inteludes were wonderful, the choice of modern singers such as Alanis Morisette, Lemar and Sheryl Crow was doubtless done to draw in their fans, but they were all suprisingly good, the soundtrack is definatly worth purchasing.
And I nearly fell off my chair in the final big number, Jonathan Pryce is astounding.
