Review of De-Lovely (2004) by Aparna P — 10 Jun 2007
You can't lose witha Cole Porter soundtrack, and while the contemporary recordings are hit-and-miss, the hits are solid ones.
Kevin Kline overcomes a total non-resemblance to Porter and gives a deeply affecting performance in a film that manages to be a "feelgood flick" despite its almost unrelenting angst and tragedy.
