Immensely stagey, but then this was a musical theatre composer par excellence. Kevin Kline does a decent job of evoking Cole Porter but Ashley Judd is luminous as his wife. Great cameos from people like Elvis costello, Robbie Williams, Alanis Morrissette and Sheryl Crow as singers of the time.
