Review of De-Lovely (2004) by Benjamin W — 22 Jul 2008
I think that if I were not in "Anything Goes", I would have rated this movie much lower (knowing a lot of the songs helps). HOWEVER! I deducted a star because I really was quite fine not knowing about Cole Porter's gay-ness (although, I must say that I'm not surprised due to the relative closeness to the musical theatre).
Also, minus one star because I really really wanted him to write "Be Like the Bluebird" while in jail for something. Still, the makeup department did some incredible work in aging these actors and actresses.
