Review of De-Lovely (2004) by Jennifer U — 28 Apr 2009
In this musical Cole Porter biography, Cole looks back on his life like a Scrooge on a journey with the Ghost of Christmas Past. It's a bit strange at first, but eventually you can just got with it.
Better suited to Broadway than the screen, the toe-tapping songbook does a lot to revive the sometimes tedious story. The cameos were exciting, however, and I definitely feel more enlightened about Mr.
Porter's life now.
