Review of Dazed and Confused (1993) by Paul J — 07 Jun 2014
Linklater certainly captures the era perfectly. We never doubt that it's '76 and the actors are all believable and genuine-looking. Interesting to note, twenty years after American Graffiti, Linkater made this film which coincidentally is set twenty years after American Graffiti.
Both films share much in common. Teenagers driving around listening to music and being typical teenagers. I can appreciate the film but it didn't really grab me. Kinda forgettable.
